I'm listening to the third party forum right now on NPR and it is fascinating. It's liberating listening to all these different platforms. I sometimes feel suffocated while almost forcing myself to reconcile my stance with that of the democratic party when battling republicans in debate. Philosophically I feel most intimate with that of the Libertarian party, but I do have my qualms.
A tangent for readers: Why is it important to allign ourselves in 2004 with the views of the founding fathers of this country? Why isn't change and accomodation to different times embraced? Why do some parties use conjecture to assess what the needs of today are based on "what the founding fathers envisioned" then?
